Holloid

Holloid is a Vienna-based, private company founded in 2022 as a spin-off from BOKU University. It has developed a proprietary platform combining compact, in-line 3D holographic microscopes (Hollometers) with cloud-based AI analytics for real-time monitoring of microorganisms and particles in bioprocesses. The company's 'microscopy as a service' model aims to help industrial producers reduce costs, prevent contamination, and automate control, positioning it as an enabler for the circular bioeconomy.
