EPV Sensors is a private, pre-revenue medical device startup founded in 2010 (incorporated 2015) and based in San Diego, CA. The company is developing a portable, handheld tonometer (TT001) that uses proprietary micro-force transducers and signal processing to enable non-invasive, at-home IOP monitoring for glaucoma management. With a small core engineering team and technology originating from the University of Arizona, EPV Sensors aims to address a significant unmet need in ophthalmic diagnostics by moving IOP measurement from the clinic to the home.
